BESPOKE WEDDING SUIT FOR JOEY ZEELEN

The wedding had a Vivienne Westwood theme, so the challenge was to dive deep into the archive of the punk legend, retain a wedding feel and incorporate Joey's character.

The first sketch meeting with Joey consisted mostly of scrapping ideas that were too extravagant for him, such as a five meter drag that folded into a veil and avant-garde shoulders that referenced Vivienne's archive. After that, we mostly sparred on styling and presentation elements, such as attaching the white flower on his lapel at the altar.

A wedding that truly reflected their sophisticated, raw and kind personalities - equally reflected in the suit.

Made from left-over fabrics by Stella McCartney and Haider Ackermann.
